Six Flags Over Georgia was kind enough to send us some photos of their new roller coaster, Dare Devil Dive, in production. These photos show Gerstlauer working on track and the control system for the ride.

Cool. Can't wait to get to ride it later this summer.
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.
Thanks for putting these pictures up Jeff!
I can't wait to ride this thing - just think, 2 loopers next to each other with no OTSRs. I hope this starts more of a trend than has already been started. That was my one dislike of the Gerstlauer coasters - those bangy OTSRs.
The only time OTSRs hurt me are when I bang my head on my desk.
Like right now.
"It hurts me more than it hurts you" or something.
Is complaining about capacity Gonch approved?
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
The only complaining that's Gonch approved is complaining about complaining.
How about complaining about folks who complain about complainers?
I was particularly intrigued by the prefab of the control system. I assumed that most manufactures did this entirely on-site.
That does make a lot of sense though. I'm sure they know all of the sensors and controls needed for the ride. And I'm sure they'll add extra "slots" just in case. But having the thing mostly assembled before moving it on site would save a lot of time.
After riding Mystery Mine again last weekend, I have more interest in this now. I guess the UK eurofighters aren't indicative of all eurofighters going bad after a few seasons. Mystery Mine is still running like new IMO without the massive head slamming featured on Saw and Speed.
Long live the Big Bad Wolf
I rode Mystery Mine two years ago and I rode it defensively. It was still a great ride, but it can hurt if you aren't prepared for some of the turns. I had the same experience on the one at MOA, too. Great ride, but only when ridden defensively.
