First Pictures of Tulireki (Mack Fun Coaster) @ Linnanmäki, Finland.

Yup, lools like a neat ride. Thanks for posting these.

Wow...very cool looking! My only complaint-very short, but oh well, looks fun nonetheless.

X-Noun-1.The most fun you ever had in your life! 2.The most thrilling ride ever!
Looks like a Gerstauler with it's mix of Wild Mouse turns and a sharp, snappy family coaster. I welcome more rides like this.

Now that's the kind of coaster that someone can really mack fun of. ;)
For those who doesn't know, a Mack Fun Coaster has cars that are able to tilt from side to side during the turns to add to the "out of control" feel. And one of the reason for the short lenght of the coaster is that the park is an "urban park" and doesn't have alot of space for expansions.
It's good to see that the scandinavian parks can keep up the coaster boom we've had here for a few years now.
Wow, I can think of lots of parks in America where that coaster would look great! I like the looks of the cars too! 3 rows and stadium seating. Who was the person looking for Dutch Wonderland additions? This would be cool, probably too expensive, but way cool.

Mildly amused since 2003.
From Linnanmäki's site:

Tulireki - new ride, new kind of fun!
Linnanmäki proudly presents a new ride introduced for summer 2004: Tulireki takes you on a journey with Lemminkäinen, a hero from the Finnish national epic Kalevala, as he travels through a river of fire, over a burning pit and through a gate guarded by a bear, wolf and a snake. The journey is filled with wild twists and turns - and also many screams of joy.

Sounds hot ;)

I just have one question. What are all those crazy signs in the first picture?

- R.A

I think they're servicestations, there's one with a babybottle and another with trash.
@ Raskal: Does this mean that the ride will be heavily themed? It actually sounds like a part indoor ride, but I doubt that they will enclose the ride?!

@ everybody interested:
Here is a rendering of the proposed, original layout of the Mack Fun Coaster.

http://www.coastersandmore.de/rides/eas03/eas03main.shtml

The car-chassis is mounted on a circular cylinder which allows the car to "wiggle" sideways as well as forward and backward.

Props to Linnanmäki for building innovative rides, even if they have hardly any space. But it IS very short.

I don't know, can't gather from the website since the information on the English page is sparse.

Finnish is the only language that has nothing in common with the other Scandinavian languages. Danish, Swedish and Norwegian are practically the same, but Finnish is gibberish in comparison.
