At Disney's parks-and-resorts division, operating profit rose 23 percent to $848 million. Sales climbed 8 percent to $4 billion. Disney attributed the parks-and-resorts growth primarily to increased guest spending and higher attendance at its domestic parks. Still, Disney said expenses of rolling out MyMagic+ continued to be a drag on profits during the third quarter.
