Déjà Vu...Nauseating?

I have a question for y'all...at times, my sinuses get a little funny, and I get headachy and nauseated after a ride like the Bull or V². However, no matter if I'm in perfect health or not, Batman always seems to give me a nauseating headache. Is the experience on Batman similar to that of Deja Vu? And, given the above conditions, do you think I would be nauseated by the ride?

Welcome to Six Flags Great America, home of the fastlane and delay-ja vu! We have now officially been deemed the world-wide wait!

i dont think i have the same problem, but i did feel somewhat sick after riding 2 face @ SFA and also didnt feel so great after the loop on batwing. nothing else seems to bother me. i just dont like when G's are pressed to the stomach, because on the ride, it doesnt matter if it were G's or the ride itself, i still feel somewhat sick.

no, Deja Vu shouldnt do that to you....ive ridden the one at SFOG....i mean, its quite fast, but the inversions are so huge that the train almost crawls through...the loop is kind of intense, but nothing compared the Gs felt on standard INvertigo...also Deja Vu is kinda rough in its transitions. so that kinda takes away from the nausea feeling. its a fantastic ride though...the first drop is awesome:)

hey...thats my story..and im stickin by it!!! :)
PKD 2003...drop rides will never be the same...Intamin rocks!! :)

Even though Deja Vu pulls a high number of G's at the foot of the spikes, you can't feel them. The ride is great, but if you don't like being in a vertical position nearly 200 feet in the air, I'd tell you to pass. Then again, it's a great smooth Vekoma masterpiece that doesn't look all that good until you ride it.

if you can handle V2, delay ja vu shouldn't be a problem
just bring a good book for the Q line

Yeah no kidding B&M guy. That queue can get HOT and long. My advice would be to bring sunblock and a big bottle of cold spring water (if in summer) as well. The DV at SFGAM has very little shade in it's queue line. I am imagining the situation to be quite similar with the other two.

The only nauseating boomerang that I have ever been on is the original sit down boomerang. The Mind Eraser (a good example of that) got me pretty sick when I last visited SFWOA two years ago.

However, I loved DV. It did not get me sick at all. I found it quite intense with some slightly rough transitions. I love the hang time that you get when are getting carried up those 190 ft. towers.

Off to CP in August, Hopefully off to two other parks in July though!! YEA!!!! :-D It will be a good summer!

Although it's a little off the original topic - concerning books and waiting in line...I've found that a Palm Pilot with an eBook reader and/or some games is great to have when you are waiting in line, or traveling anywhere. It's small, and you can fit several books in the memory, rather than trying to stuff a paperback in your pocket. It's also nice if you have wireless internet access. You can browse and post CoasterBuzz from the park !

Back on the original topic...Deja Vu is very disorientating, but I don't know if I would consider it nauseating or not.
However, I don't get sick from anything usually. Coasters, boats, drinking, whatever. So I may not be the best judge.
Just go for it.

The best part, is if you do puke, it will make the ride look that much more scary for those waiting in line. ;)

Nauseous? Not at all.....ridden all three US versions, and I loved them....even after 8-10 trips on SFMM's (now with no valleying!), I wasn't nauseous at ALL...thank goodness for ERT....Standard Boomerangs get me, invertigos/GIBs are fine....
