New carousel being assembled on Detroit waterfront

The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy began assembling the new River Carousel on Monday, its crowning jewel for Detroit's newly revitalized riverfront. With animal motifs drawn from species native to the Detroit River, the carousel promises to become an attraction for decades to come.
