Santa Cruz planning officials reject Double Shot

A Santa Cruz Planning Commission majority has rejected the Seaside Co.’s proposal for a 125-foot "Double Shot" thrill ride at the Beach Boardwalk. The company says the ride is essential to the amusement park’s long-term survival and will appeal the decision to the city council.
