NBC Universal announces restructuring, Ron Meyer to continue overseeing former VUE

The newly formed NBC Universal, a child company of General Electric, announced yesterday the shuffling of several executives and their responsibilities. Ron Meyer, president of the former Vivendi Universal Entertainment that included theme parks, film and TV, will retain a similar position. He will now report to Bob Wright, the CEO of NBC and a board member for GE.
