Belmont Park gets new operator, promises of restoration

San Diego's troubled Belmont Park has a new operator who promises to restore the Mission Beach attraction to its historical roots as "a family entertainment center." The former operator was accused of neglecting the park by city officials. The city owns the park and leases it to operators.
