Mt. Olympus owner wants to operate late nights, in conflict with ordinance

Police Chief Tom Dorner called Mt. Olympus owner Nick Laskaris Thursday night and told him he was in violation of the village’s amusement and entertainment ordinance, which states amusements must close by midnight, or 1 a.m. on Saturday nights. Laskaris told the village board he didn’t think he was in violation, because the events were not open to the public, only guests of the hotel.
