Parish pushes Alton Towers to fund road to ease traffic

Merlin Entertainment last week announced parking charges will go up to £5 at Alton Towers and Councillor Moult is again calling for the group to allocate money to making Alton's "perilous" roads safe. The council says there was a verbal contract in place with the previous owners for the road, but Merlin says there is no record of a contract.
