Family settles fatality lawsuit against Pigeon Forge park

The family of a woman who fell from a Pigeon Forge amusement park ride has settled a lawsuit against the defunct park and the man convicted of reckless homicide in her death, the family's attorney said yesterday. June Carol Alexander, 50, of Millersville north of Nashville, was riding The Hawk last year at the Rockin' Raceway when her harness on the swinging gondola-style ride came loose and she fell 60 feet.
