State says parts were worn on Mt. Olympus Opa! roller coaster at time of accident, park will remove ride

A state agency found several violations at Mt. Olympus and ordered the park to shut down and replace defective and worn parts on its Opa! roller coaster after a March 6 incident that left a man severely injured.

I know this is probably piling on but...this is the only park that has ever given me genuine fear while riding.


Here's a question. How many coaster enthusiasts knew that these mice had a limit of 660 lbs per car?

I've personally ridden with upwards of 800 lbs on board, and more than once...

Apparently this one has been sold to Wade Shows.
