If Cedar Point was across the street from IOA, I'd still rather go to IOA. And this from a CP fanboy.

If you take all the rides in Disney that most of us here are interested in riding, it still does not equal the rides available at Cedar Point. In order to do it though, you would have to go to all four parks. Would anyone pay $240 for a one day admission to CP?

Yeah, but going to Disney just for rides is missing the point, I think. It's about the atmosphere, the experience, the shows, the characters - blah blah blah. Rides are just part of the overall equation.

Cedar Point, however, is just about the rides. Great ones and lots of them.

It kind of goes back to my earlier post - the only ones this hurts are enthusiast types looking for some quick thrill rides/credit whoring and nothing else. And if that's the case why are you choosing WDW in the first place. You don't stop by WDW for some quick rides.

I've decided to buy a season pass this year (I live in Vegas). I'm there for 2 weeks over Christmas and the many options and limitations with the multiple ticketing entities is too much for me to handle. I just want to go to the parks at my desire and hop whenever I want as often as possible. Some days I just want to lay around and hit Epcot at night for the atmosphere. Or maybe IOA by day and just hit ToT at night. It would suck to waste a valuable park hopper ticket for such short activities at WDW like I prefer to do.

I figure I'll waste the big bucks on the season pass so I do not have to endure limitations in my vacation experience. I guess for me, money is not the whole story.

I'm sure they will eventually price me out of the market, but they are certainly nowhere near that point now based upon the quality of product they give.

P.S. Ironically, Six Flags has priced me out of their market at $20 plus a Coke can based upon they product they give me. Go figure...

*faints* Thank goodness we still have old unused tickets... if I can ever afford to get back there again! :P
