A Super-Intense Shuttle Loop!

I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of Moonsault Scramble. It was operating at Nagashima Spaland. It had 6.2 Positive Gs! Here is the link if you don't believe me! But please, does anyone have pics of this ride?

I can't remember where pictures are off-hand, but I remember seeing them. It's a strange looking thing, that's for sure. Kind of like a boomerang's freaky, drunken cousin if memory serves.

37 is not it. That is a standard Schwarzkopf shuttle loop. Moonsault Scramble is a Meisho shuttle with 2 inversions.

BTW, RCDB is wrong, Moonsault Scramble was built at Fujiku highlands (for proof, you can see fujiyama in some of those pics) not Nagashima, And it was removed 2 seasons ago to make room for Dodonpa, this year's new 107 mph TA2K. I think it's a shame they took it down as it was the first
rollercoaster over 200' tall. It is 207' and opened in 1983.

I've heard rumors that the general public over there didn't like the ride anywhere. The Japanese aren't as daring as we Americans are. Well, at least that's what Nagashima Spaland's General Manager Yoshiki Takei said in an article about Steel Dragon 2000 in the most recent edition of RollerCoaster! magazine. I should add that it's a very interesting article that exposes why the damn thing cost so much.

While were on the topic of shuttle loops, if I recall correctly Kennywood had a Shuttle Loop at one point, does anyone know why it was dismanteled?

Kennywood's shuttle loop was called the Laser Loop and it was removed to make room for the Steel Phantom. You can find pictures of it at my web site.
