Re: New Jersey parks have no major injuries this season

Well, it's Jersey. All the injuries took place due to "accidents" on the way home.

There only TWO good things to come out of Jersey I can think of.

Kevin Smith and Bruce Springstein.

Hey Richard! New Jersey smells so bad, you should be getting an unusual stench in Dublin any time now. Either that or it's France!

I generally try to avoid being the guy who finds the negative in positive situations, but my first thought when I read the title was, 'I'm sure the saintly Ed Markey will be taking full credit...'

Re: New Jersey parks have no major injuries this season

If anything, it demonstrates why the feds don't need to be involved in regulating these rides. Individual states can and should acquire the expertise to inspect rides themselves, to an extent that makes sense in that state. I mean, Ohio needs more than, say, Montana, and the complexity of rides will be far greater in Ohio.

How very true. If it was to fall under the gov't beuracracy, wouldn't be most closely realted to OSHA?
