Re: TV Alert: SFNE on Discover channel

Cool! Finally a show that's gonna get into the funy physics of coasters.

Just one question: are they going to show a slow-mo protein spill?

3 g's is dangerous over a period of milliseconds, but since it's stretched out, it's OK? No. He's obviously thinking of impulses.

Either way, it's about time that guy got back to narrating roller coasters.

Welcome back, red train, how was your ride?!

So I gotta ask. Would Iron Dragon viewed with a high speed camera look stopped?

Re: TV Alert: SFNE on Discover channel

Heard yet more reviews of Bizarro over PPP that make me wonder just HOW far the ride will drop in the upcoming rankings....my initial guess is it'll show up in the bottom half of the top-10. "Don't fix what ain't broke!"

Just set the dvr.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Ridem, How very funny. Would Jr. Gemini in slo-mo look like is going backwards?

What I think would be cool would be the launch system on Dragster shot in slo-mo. Maybe a woodie's struck shot that way as well might be coool, especially the way the wood flexes.

Well, I saw it last night, and it was interesting to say the least. One of the coolest (and possibly best shots) was the cotton candy spinner.

I enjoyed the sequnce using Bizarro as a physics demo. I gotta say, it was very well done.
