To me it's pretty simple.......having been there often in the past but refusing to go now.......it used to be a small parking fee and pay as you ride, so going to the park and spending a small amount of money was feasible but now with Pay One Price people are not going. There is not enough there to susatin a P.O.P.

It's a simple solution in my eyes.....go back to the old way......and invest in another medium sized coaster.

I too prefer the old system, but you can still get in as a non-rider for a few bucks. It is really annoying though, because they now have gates up everywhere, and you have to scan your wristband when you leave and enter.

Yep, changing to POP is why I won't go anymore. The only way they're getting me back otherwise is if I get to ride the wooden kiddie coaster.

^Matt, it is my *understanding* that all future enthusiast events are LIKELY to contain some ride time on the kiddie coaster. It is my intention to schedule a flight for the first event at the park in '10 to verify that this is indeed the case. The only wooden coaster I've encountered that I couldn't ride due to being...an "adult".

There was already an event this year that had ert on it.

^Yes, but the flyer only mentioned Dragon Coaster ERT, and by the time I heard that the Kiddie Coaster would *possibly* be included, plans were already set in stone for travel elsewhere. As God is my witness, I will get a lap on that thing...sometime. LOL!

Rumor has it, Gator kidnaps kids, Walks on kids shoulders and bribes grandmas to ride kiddie coasters

As for Playland. I loved the park. Totally found it to be *Without the Flying coaster* to be the best traditional out there. Knoebels has more to do but the classic feel goes to Playland.

They should also get rid of the height limit for the wild mouse coaster which I think is 6 feet. I don't think any of the Zamperla wild mouse coasters have that restriction (I know Morey's doesn't).

It barely seems like it is worth a stop for me if I was in the area just for the Dragon Coaster and the Zamperla flyer (which I have heard nothing but bad things about).

Are you saying that anyone under 6 feet tall (72 inches) is not permitted to ride the wild mouse there? That would eliminate half of the adults in my family right there.

I was denied entry to the Wild Mouse there (I am 6'3"). Apparently, it is just because of the low roof in the station....

As for the park... you can still get smaller ride packages (buy points for rides). As for me, when my friends and I went this year (our first trip), we went for POP and spent the day there... rode everything many times over. I enjoyed it.
