I live in northern New Jersey and had been to the park once before and I just loved it so much... a much different feel then other SF parks that I had to go back. Unfortunatly making the 4 hour drive (im only 18 here) they decided to close the park when we were at the gate because due to weather they did not believe that there would be enough people to open the park... it didnt even rain much during the day... that was really annoying..

So anyway we decided to go back. on tuesday or wed. the 5th... and it was an awesome day

So heres how we did the rides

1st: Cyclone: I absolutly love this wooden coaster even though it has so many things wrong with it. All my friends were just laughing the whole time and the jerks are so unexpected... the ride actually causes fear to riders. Its rough but not painful (like SOB) It could use a better major drop and some retracking and maybe a second train... but i love it. (9/10)

2nd: Pandemonium: Fun Spinner... Weight the car uneven... makes it even more crazy (7/10)

3rd: Blizzard River: It was better the last time I rode (the fog wasnt really on like it used to be. I was the only one wet from stupid dripping pipes (5/10)

4th: Flashback: The smoothest vekoma boomerang (7/10)

5th: Jokers Wildcard: What a dumb ride outside (3/10)

6th: BIZARRO: ok heres what youve been waiting for... I love everything about this transformation even though im confident it didnt have to be done.. I actually really like the random loud audio... it really adds to the chainlift and the anticipation especially when you are about to crest the top. The misters and red lights in the tunnel make the first drop even better and the sign is a cool headchopper... the cheap buildings are cool... they add more speed... this ride has INCREDIBLE AIRTIME and it actually makes Millenium Force seem like a forceless coaster (except for its marvelous first drop and random ejector on the mini dip at the end). The flamethrowers are cool and you can really feel them. That last dip into the last tunnel is sweet and the airtime at the end is awesome. I actually also like the Bizarro #1 chant at the end... All in all the #1 coaster on the planet (its actually my second fav. behind X2 at MM) even better... i love it (10+/10)

7th: Mind Eraser: Omg it poured while we were on it and it ran smoother... i like the new paint job... makes it look soooooo much better... still a bad invert though (6.5/10)

8) Dark Knight: Fun Floorless... some force and good drop but trim kills the second half of the ride for me (8.5/10)

9) Hurricane Harbor: best prepaid waterpark in the country (no slichterbahn though) Typhoon is sweet and tornado has a really steep first drop... the park is clean and always worth a visit

10) Thunderbolt- 8/10 airtime woody

11) Reruns... Bizarro at night was even better .... the lighting is sweet and the moon over the water was just incredible.

Great report Jimmy Boy. This coming from a guy who hasn't ridden Bizzaro but I am guessing what sets the ride apart from MF are the amounts of airtime? I am assuming that this is why it has beat out MF in the Golden Ticket Awards best steel coaster for the last couple years as well. I may be wrong but I can think of 4 fun moments of air on MF. How many moments of airtime are on Bizzaro (or are there too many to count)? Just curious because a coaster that can beat out MF on a steel coaster poll HAS to be very impressive.

^Collin, I haven't ridden since the retrofit, but the only equivalent experience in wooden coaster terms would be to take Phoenix's number of airtime moments and then multiply that by Toro's forcefulness of those airtime hills. "Impressive" doesn't even begin to describe *the* Ride of Steel. I love SFA/DL's, but SFNE's puts those to shame.

^ I think that might be a little bit of an exaggeration. I had been on SROS at SFNE a bunch of times before i ever got on El Toro. And while there may be more moments of airtime than El Toro; the air is never even remotely as intense as it is on Toro. I was actually freaked out the first time I rode El Toro it was so foreful! It's 8 or 9 hills of very good air time vs 3 hills of extreme air time.

And as for the MF comparison. All i'm going to say is this. SROS is a far more complete coaster. Yes that includes FAR more air time. And if a complete ride is what you like the most then it truly is the worlds greatest ride. But whenever someone says MF is forceless i always leave shaking my head. Its the only coaster i've ever almost blackout out on, and i've heard stories where it has happened. The only other coasters in this country known to do that often are Titan and Goliath. I don't see how that's not intense!!

I have actually had the experience of riding el toro, bizarro, goliath, titan, and phoenix... and honestly being on el toro at least 10 times I think it is actually not as forceful in terms of ejecter airtime as it looks.... the best part of it is actually the finally... the restraints really dont allow you to feel any floater or extreme ejector airtime. The best part of the ride is actually the really fast paced finally and the awesome turn around and of course the first drop...The Phoenix is the king coaster of the out of your seat experience due to the incredibly loose restraint system. Bizarro is the only one that has both floater airtime and ejector airtime (on everyhill) especiallly those awesome last three hills. The middle 2 hills on the comeback are the greastest in terms of ejector hills, it really flies over them actally very similarly to el toro (just in steel form). The restraint system allows for tons of room and airtime... the seats are actually layed back more than they used to be to allow for more room for airtime then before... this is a major plus to the ride that wasnt advertised.

Now going to the forceless aspect.... Goliath and Titan are supposed to have blackout areas... they DONT. They are both quite awesome rides but they travel very slowly through the back end of the ride. Millenium force travels fast but it has NO HELIXES ANYWHERE ON IT... the thing that kills the ride is that oversized overbanked curve... the ride would be so much better if that third hill was placed as the second element followed by an overbanked hill. It also needs more hills. and ive sitten in the front and back and felt no difference. I also dont like the seating on it. Sitting on the left... my right arm kept on hitting this pesky bar on the side. The seats were not very comfy like bizarros either. Overall its just the most complete coaster ive ever ridden.. still X2 is better though.

Goliath does have blackout areas. I have had friends and strangers blackout during the helixes on Goliath while they were sitting next to me. Those helixes are very intense.
