Re: Just a comment about the beagle buck.
As far as I know, you can only use beagle bucks while you are in the park. I did not see anything on there where you could use it for admission or parking nor your next visit. Also, there is very little that you can buy in the park that is under $5.00. I would not use it to buy candy, because, It would probably be priced ten times higher then what normal candy would cost anywhere else...and, candy is not a smart park treat. The cheapest food item I saw were nachos and cheese for $2.95, which I'm sure is probably the smallest nacho portion you will ever see.
I used my beagle buck to buy cinamon funnel cake sticks, which I split with my brother for only $4.95, and got a nickle back. I was paying for everything, so, didn't want to empty my wallet in one trip. I was kind of bummed, because I wanted to get dip-n-dots, until I found out that they went from $3.50 last year for a small up to $5.00 for a small, and $6.00 for the next size up...which isn't very big.
I also agree that $25.00 is reasonable for the park entrance fee. But, $8.00 for parking is not. $5.00 would be more like it. And if they took the price of food down a few bucks. It might just be the best value around. Ashame that the management of the park does not see it.
As for the comments about Indiana Beach. Even though MA has a better water park. Indiana beach kicks it's ass on Nostalgia, and unique attractions, entertainment, and overall atmosphere. Plus the food at Indiana beach is far superior to Michigan's Adventure, and lot cheaper. Add free parking, no entrance fee, and you have the best value out of the two. At least I think so.
