The Q-Bot virtual queuing system, designed by a British company called Lo-Q, allows visitors to reserve a place in line without actually having to wait in line. The virtual wait time is determined by the actual wait time when the reservation is made. Testing is set to begin this month at Six Flags Magic Mountain, with an official debut scheduled after the first of the year. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom also plans to add the Q-Bot system starting Feb. 28, 2009.

Yeah, I'm not sure where the author got that fantasy from.

I wish Gonch was wrong about these stupid things' long-term viability, but alas, he seems more right every day.

Soo, how long before the CF parks and smaller ones like KW and Canobie add these things?

It seems they might be a sort of "cash cow," if enough people use them.

For Cedar Fair, probably the week after Kinzel retires.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the only reason CF hasn't considered them is that they are "technology"---and we all know how quick CF is to adopt new technology that isn't a ride system.

Lol.....even Dollywood has them now.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Add another park to the growing list of Q-bot enable sites.

Dreamworld signed a deal for a year with Lo-Q too.
