Permanent zoning variance considered this week for Six Flags New England

After permitting delays and other issues derailed plans for a $7.5 million indoor roller coaster earlier this year, a proposal was put forth that would effectively allow Six Flags New England to bypass the Zoning Board of Appeals to build new coasters up to 200 feet in height. The current limit without a special permit from the board is 45 feet.

Not sure why they couldn't resolve their last dispute amicably, this would at least help prevent the B:tDK problem from recurring. Anyone know what ever happened to the ride hardware?

Actually in a photo from the other day, the hardware was still sitting at SFNE.

Agreed, BUT...SFGAm and GAdv this year proved that having a TDK coaster will displace some fools from El Toro and Viper lines!

Anyone still waiting in line for Viper at SFGAdv is most definitely a fool...and in for a really, really long wait! lol

I like waiting in the Viper line at GAdv....the ride at the end has gotten SO much better.
