Well, if they exceed the magnificent Blue Fall I might have to make another visit...

Blue Fall?
August 13, 2008, 6:13P

New year's?
August 13, 2008, 6:37P

^^Moosh Blue fall...it's a drop tower in Japan at Sea Paradise. Rode it last year on the TPR trip and it is AWESOME.

I don't think a drop tower is what's coming since they already have Liberty Launch.

Speed slides for the water park?
August 13, 2008, 8:25P

^I dont know how many times it has to be said, but they arent getting any speed slides, unless they had an aprupt change of perception of them, which is possible. Paula has said(on coasterbuzz) that they are TOO INTENSE for them. Her words not mine. I just dont see them building a Summit Plummet esque waterslide as some have suggested. All of their large slides are able to accomodate family groups of 4(with the exception of Jungle Racer) so I would say look at slides in that direction, not 120 ft 75 degree body slides.

^More intense that a 170ft TGG woodie with three 90* turns and speeds over 65mph?
August 13, 2008, 9:33P

"Too intense" really isn't the word.

But go to ANY waterpark that has speed slides and notice that they normally feature two or three very bored lifeguards and a really short line. Everyone makes the mistake of going down one of those slides *once*, then spends the next half-hour trying to separate swim trunks from lower alimentary canal. It's not a pleasant experience nor is it a pretty sight. Kings Island took their speed slides out when they renovated, and at the Wyandot Lake auction, the speed slides got no bids.

A link would have been nice...so I'll do it:

I'm more intrigued by this:

Werne said besides a major new attraction, the park also plans to add “a service” in 2009 which will be innovative, free and use technology.

I agree with the speed slide thing. I was so excited to go on summit plummet at Blizzard Beach (the biggest in the world, no?). One ride was too much for me. That thing HURT. My back and ass let out a collective scream on it and I never want to have to surgically extract my swim suit again.
August 14, 2008, 11:03A

That's a weird tower. They don't all come down at once. Those rides lose their appeal only after a certain amount of years. In my opinion, not worth the money.*** This post was edited by Spinout 8/14/2008 11:04:39 AM ***

All of the Intamin drop towers I've ridden (SFKK, SFStL, SFA, Kennywood, PGA...I'm sure I'm missing a few) have staggered drop sequences.
August 14, 2008, 11:56A

Did they buy HyperSonic?
August 14, 2008, 12:20P

Only if they were high on drugs, lol.
August 14, 2008, 12:38P

I hope we get a Ferris Wheel!
August 14, 2008, 12:53P

^How would you relate the word "Drop" to a Ferris wheel? Other than someone jumping or falling off.
August 14, 2008, 1:05P

That's assuming "drop" was the clue...
August 14, 2008, 1:09P

As I understand it Intamin drops are not staggered. Rather, they happen a defined amount of time after the ride reaches the top. If all the cars start rising simultaneously they will all drop simultaneously; the reality is that they start to rise at different times.
