More serious charges brought in Valleyfair assault

Charges were amended to first-degree assault after prosecutors learned the victim may have long-term injuries. Besides his previously reported broken eye socket, he suffered serious eye and nerve damage to his optic nerve and to facial nerves that may not heal. He had eyebrow cuts requiring stitches, bleeding in his right eye and other injuries.

Just absolutely sickening! This world is going crazy. But I can also say without a doubt, if someone was attacking my daughter...I'd do the same without even thinking about the consequences. Just hope that the dad can make a full recovery, and that the family can get past this as soon as possible.

I don't know why this is on my mind so much. This really pissed me off. I wonder if someone could find out the victims name and whereabouts. Maybe the coasterbuzz community could take up a donation or do something for this man and his family. I hope he has health insurance. Poor guy.

Maybe someone could set up a paypal donation (Jeff- Coasterbuzz Charity??) or something for when things like this happen. I'm not a rich man by any means, but if we all piched in a couple bucks here and there it would help.
