We hate lines. They're not worth it to us.
I'm totally on board with this. Except for something that is brand-new, I won't bother with anything over 30 minutes, no matter what it is. Even then, 45 or so is my limit. I waited close to that for Toy Story Mania in May, and if it weren't for the Potato Head animatronic, I'd've gone bonkers.
Even better, I've got my kids trained. We walked by Thunderchicken at MiA---3/4 full queue with one train on the course---and my daughter said "Nah, I rode it at Geauga. I don't want to wait for it again." That's my girl!
In almost any park, there are plenty of fun things to do that don't require waiting in long lines.
