Stanley and Margaret Nelson, park owners for more than 30 years, are suing former operators Robert Barnard and Michael Moodenbaugh for $248,000 in unpaid rent and $200,000 for missing or damaged property. The operators said they sent a letter to the city clerk in late June saying they intend to file a $42 million lawsuit against the city of Wichita for business interference and the Nelsons for fraudulent contract.

Wow, this little part of the country is sure home to a LOT of amusement park drama!

Sounds to me like the owners can't make a go of actually running a business, so they're going the litigation route. But if they had a case, I would think they would have long since filed.

The reason it took so long to file is they tried everything they could before it got to this point.now the city has 120 days to respond to the letter, one last chance to come to the table and play nice.I hope that happens
