Is it just me, or does this sound like the deal of the century?

Yes, a great deal. The park was worth about $8 Million and the parking lot $1 Million (or so I read). I wonder how many creditors are very unhappy about this. Shame.

It will be neat to see what Murphy Brothers puts in for an A-Ticket attraction. Other than carnival rides, I wonder what they have in terms of coasters and shows.

The largest ride they had was a Reverchon spinning Mouse and a log flume that never opened (or did for a week)

Personally, i liked the Name Wild West World, but it is good to distance themselves from it.

^ I think you mean an E-Ticket attraction, John... I'm sure carnies have plenty of A-Ticket rides.

They could always hit up the Geauga Lake auction...

What rides even remain after the auction? It was my understanding that the land and basic infrastructure were all that remained post-bankruptcy.

I know that the viking ship ride that was located at Wild West World, where it was known as Kanza Kanoe, has been relocated. It will open this year at Cincinnati`s Coney Island as the River Runner.

Jeff, I think Part of the log flume channels and the Moser built Mexican Hat (sort of like a Troika) ride remain.

I once thought rides where referred to as A B C and D levels starting with your A-Level rides as your major ones.
