SeaWorld welcomes sea lions from Pacific Northwest

Days of picking off wild salmon at the all-you-can-eat buffet on the Columbia River in the Pacific Northwest have come to a close for the three newest residents of SeaWorld San Antonio. The sea lions move from the Washington-Oregon border to San Antonio came at the behest of the federal government, which began trapping and moving problematic endangered sea mammals last month to get them away from conflicts with angry salmon fishermen.

Thats actually a real shame to shoot sea lions. They should let us shoot at the fishermen.

There is a problem when we have to compete with wild animals for the same food source.

It's nice that there are at least three seals out of harm's way from the fisherman who dont care about environment. Let's just hope the government does a good and safe job trapping and transplanting.

On a side not, not all fisherman are terrible like that. Lets only shoot the ones who are jerks. Haha.

Turns out the six sea lions from this story weren't shot and killed. They apparently died of heat stroke...in traps set by state officials.
