Is the real color scheme on there yet, I thought it was going to be a brighter red track and black supports. Looks like chipping primer on thre now, how come it's like that on the running rails when it hasn't been run yet?

I just had the strangest case of Deja Vu. Looks like the same thing I saw six years ago...only it was at a different park. Wonder if KI will be able to make the dueling station work on a daily basis whether SFWoA/GL couldn't.

^I'm sure Cedar Fair will manage X-FlightHawk much better than SFWOA/GL. errr, wait a minute, isn't GL a CF??? Oh you know what I mean. (JK)

It's strange that only three flying dutchman coaster's were built and only one has stayed in its original location.

If that is the loop which it looks like it is, it was one of the last things remaing on the ride, when they took it from Geauga Lake. It seems like the coaster might be almost ready before its expected. The support paint still looks like it needs to be done, because it was in the same condition when it left Geauga Lake.

Way to go on hustling through it, and to respond to the dual stations, they did do loading on both sides last year, at least opening day they did, and to the last weekend, because i was on the opposite side, waiting in the shorter lines those days.

I know this coaster isn't in anyone's top ten or anything, but I really enjoyed it every time I rode at GL. Now, it's even better since it will be about 4 hours closer than before!

Hopefully KI can work out the kinks with the capacity/dispatch times that seemed to bite GL.

Yes, that is not the final paint scheme. Maureen said that they have been applying the brown primer by hand (rollers) in the parking lot. As can be seen in the pictures, they haven`t touched every portion of every piece of track. They will repaint the track the bright red color that they did a test patch on, once the ride is completely assembled. They also plan on repainting the supports, and several of the adjacent maintenance buildings.

Maureen also said that the park is committed to using both sides of the station for loading. With a park that draws 3 million plus visitors a year, they will need to have the ride operating at optimal capacity.

That would be interesting to see, since no one has been able to make that model run at full capacity yet. I wonder if they can actually use three trains? I seem to recall Six Flags cannibalizing the third one back in the day for parts.

Why rush construction. The ride will hardly ever work anyways.

It also looks set much closer to the ground than it was at GL, which should add to the excitement factor.

The station is actually at ground level by the pics instead of elevated 10-15 ft like at Geauga.

I don't think Geauga could never make both stations work. I think they couldn't ever keep two trains going and didn't often staff it enough for both stations.

Hopefully it will be much more reliable. If not, Might as well have not moved it.

, it appears as though the station is going to have the mechanical arms to raise or lower the cars, ala Borg.

I wonder why they cleared out all of the land behind the ride as much as they did? There was a lot of trees there.

I see no difference in that station than at Geauga. Two tracks and exit in the middle.

No, honestly, I wonder how this is going to impact that area of the midway. On really busy days getting through the path under Racer/recaR was tough with the games, exit to the swings ect. They will need to get the dual station working semi efficient for this to pay off otherwise it will be a continuation of a SF issue.

Wow I must say I'm shocked at how fast this thing is going up it may very well make that Memorial Day debut!
