No cockroach eating for Six Flags America

I'm not sure that I'd make any connection between eating cockroaches and not being a family park. The last stunt of Fear Factor this summer (its last season) was for Joe Rogan to go across the country to a family's home to have people compete for a credit card with cash on it. Of course the competition would always involve eating something disgusting. I only saw a few episodes, but all the people seemed like normal families to me.

Wel if SFA is trying to attract more families from the northern VA. suburbs & increase attendance in general then perhaps they could start by actually adding more rides to the park on a regular basis,as the lack of new cap ex in recent years coupled with poor capacity is a big factor in driving potential guests away....especially when PKD is always adding new attractions each season.

Of course I can care less about SFA becoming a "roach free park" during FF,I simply come during FF for the rides myself.

LOL, I was wondering if SFA's "cleanliness issue" had something to do with this stunt NOT being performed at that specific park...

...don't forget "Family Fear Factor" when they have the parent & child on the show who do the gross stunts. Granted, it usually doesn't involve eating... but the kids definately dig it on the show when they watch it.

So I don't know what bug is crawling up Six Flags America's ass... but I think it's just a cover-up of some other reasons as mentioned above by gator (even if you were being sarcastic, it's true)

SFA has been cleaner than Great Adventure was the other day (at least in the bathrooms).

Oh man, give me a break. Did this spawn from when peta was complaining and whinning a few days ago ? about this event taking place at a Six Flags?. I forget which park it was they were pitching a fuss about.

I believe Great America was the target of PETA's protest. I also know this was planned all along for Six Flags America. I 'm hoping for a good Fright Fest with three new shows, a new haunted house and a return of a scary storyline to the stunt show, not to mention their suppose to have live bands playing on the new stage where Iron Eagle was at last season.

Like I said on the SFAfans board I certainly hope that the stage isn't permanent & that they plan to replace it with a new attraction in the future.

Bad enough corporate won't give them new rides, now they won't even give them insects!

Family focused? Lets just take away all of Fright Fest then. I know there's a lot of things that SFA does that ISNT family focused. Take there employee's, enough said.
