Cedar Fair, L.P. today announced that it has completed its acquisition of the Paramount Parks from CBS Corporation, in a cash transaction valued at approximately $1.24 billion. Cedar Fair will assume the complete operations and management of the parks immediately.

Well, they said the deal would be done in the third quarter. I didn't think they meant the first day of the third quarter
Cash transaction? LOL, I can picture some dark-lit room surrounded by large men guarding a suitcase while two men discuss "business."
I wonder how the season passes in Ohio will be worked out next year? I have PKI and Knott's season passes for 2006 which can get me into three Ohio parks. Will there be a "Jumbo" pass for all three next year?
