Take a look at Beech Bend's new-for-2006 Kentucky Rumbler from what became "the greatest construction tour ever" when guests were invited to ride the coaster.

Paul, you are a bit late in posting this news aren't you? Anyway they are great pics and I am still jealous.

No, I'm a bit late posting it. He submitted it before and for some reason I didn't see it on my end.

Great pictures.

Whatever happened to Mike Boodley?

I think Mike Boodley retired/semi-retired. I believe he still consults with GCII on occasion.

Wow! That was like reading a good book. The ending was awesome!

Has a coaster construction tour ever ended with a surprise like that?

That is why I love Negative-G. When Paul posts photos, he doesn't just stick a bunch of photos on there with random captions; he tells a story. He does a great job!

Other than "The Voyage" on the day before, this was my first roller coaster construction tour. And I must say it was awesome.

Great pix Paul. I was looking foward to the 07 Con already but now I wont be able to sleep. Its great to see how the smaller family parks welcome us with open arms and treat us like family. I met Charlotte this past Feb. and she was one of the most humble/nicest people I ever met. She even poked fun at herself being a redneck.*** This post was edited by BG Nut 4/8/2006 4:06:57 PM ***

Mike Boodley is retired but still somewhat busy. He is currently designing a mild "rovercoaster" for an uppity dog kennel in Florida.
