Oakwood found not criminally liable for Hydro death

There will be no criminal prosecutions over the death of a teenager who fell from a ride at a west Wales theme park, the Crown Prosecution Service has said. Hayley Williams, 16, from Pontypool, fell from the Hydro ride at Oakwood Theme Park in Pembrokeshire in 2004.

Me thinks Intamin was found fully liable.Investigations found inadaquate restraints, Just as on SUpermans, and perilous plunge.Chuck

The mere fact that changes were made to the restraint and operating systems to make em FOOL proof is also evidence that something was probably wrong.

Chuck, you are thinking like a lawyer.

Changes to the system don't prove they ever found the problem. It merely proves that they did something that looks like it might make a difference. It doesn't even prove that there was anything wrong with the original system, since we don't know how the incident happened.
