Haunted Mansion at Knoebels honored by dark ride enthusiasts

This is great news.

I just wish there were more dark rides in the world. Dark rides seem to be a thing of the past(except at Ioa). It used to be a staple ride at all amusement parks back in the day.

But due to vandlism(sp) the era of the dark ride has almost come to an end. A few of my favorate dark rides are the haunted mansion at knoebels, spiderman, and RIP the pirat ride and earthquke rides that used to be at cedar point.I also enjoyed( had a walkthrue) of the dark ride at myrtal beach. On topic - I agree that Knoebel's Haunted Mansion is one of the best. Rye's Old Mill, especially after the Sally rehab, is also top-notch.

The classic dark ride types are my favorite. It just sucks so many parks put chicken wire in front of all the stunts to keep people from destroying them.
