Blackpool's Pepsi Max Big One threatened by fire

Twelve fire engines were called to Blackpool Pleasure Beach Wednesday when flames were reported at a building near the Pepsi Max Big One rollercoaster. The fire started in a building housing a Hall of Mirrors type attraction on the ground floor and a restaurant on the first floor.

It also looks like it was the relatively new "Impossible" attraction, which was created from the old mirror maze and haunted swing. This is near the section of the Big One leading up to the turnaround - very close to the Grand National...As the bowl of petunias said: "Oh no! Not again!"

Not good news. Remember that place is an extremely jam packed park. I would think the fire may have the potential especially at Blackpool to spread very quickly.

Two major fires in a short period of time, very very bad luck.
And two deaths in the Thompson family... :-(
