Just uploaded some new video's the other day, the latest addition is the original Mister Twister from Elitch Gardens, others will be posted. I finally had my 8mm film transfered to DVD so now everything will get posted in time. Oh and here's the link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2RboSowePM

Cool! Mister Twister was one of my first big coasters. It was definitley the coaster that turned me into a crazed coaster enthusiast.

Cool - makes one feel like the good old days.
The shaky cam definitely underlines the "Cloverfield" type catastrophic immediacy!
Reminds me also to keep wondering were all those 180-degree cinema films ended up that were travelling the fairs in the 70ies and 80ies.
I wonder if something could be done about the compression artifacts (pixelation etc.) to show more of that vintage super 8 feel of the footage.
Thanks for loading it up!
airtime for everyone

Re: My Youtube coaster video's

I figured this was as good of a place to post this as any. I have transfered 8mm film from 5 different reels. 4 of the videos are Cedar Point and I'm not 100% sure of the 5th, though it might be Erieview Park. All the film is from the 50's and 60's. You can access the videos here:
