For those of you who are DDR pros, What's a good mat to buy that's affordable and still good quality?

I used to play on the mats that slid and scrunched up, but the sensors died after a couple years.

A soft pad lasting for a couple of years is amazing. Most soft pads I have had in the past only last 6 - 10 months.

I reccomend an ignition pad such as the ones on Buy N Shop:

I modded my soft pad (mounted it on plywood, covered it with vinyl) and it lasted 2 years. The best part? When it failed I just got a new soft pad for $20 and got another 2 years of life...

I bought a metal pad on eBay for $89 and it's lasted for several years... never slips, never misses a step. It's my second one though - the first one was of dubious quality and it broke quickly.
