I played Sakura tonight. Once. Failed it. But only because I didn't know when the tempo changes were. Up until then, it seemed very easy for a 10-footer... easier than other faster songs like, say, Mikeneko Rock or Across the Nightmare.
btw, I take back the things I said in another thread about GameWorks. Tonight, they had the DDR Extreme *CRANKED.* Even with the house music blasting, it was very loud. Kudos. Of course it still costs $1.75 for three songs but whatever.
I hope to go again Monday and try out DDR (the song), Xenon, LoM, etc. I could have tried them out today, but I had a crowd and not much time, so I played songs I knew and that I thought would impress.
UPDATE: Now it's Monday, just got back from GW. Add three to my 9-foot list: Saints Go Marching (finally!), Twilight Zone and Stoic (x1). Stoic is quickly becoming one of my favorite songs. Its stop rivals HV:AM's stop as the best.
Also passed Sakura (10 feet) several times. Compared to some of the other 10 footers, this should be 9 feet. Still, it's a *great* song. I figured out that when the song slows down, your feet move at the same tempo. How fast is that at the end? Feels way faster than anything I've played before.
Oh, GW climbs the integrity list by offering a card that gives you unlimited play for a *month* for $35. Not bad considering an hour of free play usually is $20.
This thread should be retitled "Den's personal accomplishments."
