The first room has a few more items in it and the narrator is differen with the narration longer and different (sounded kinda like the Volcano lady). The movie is the same.
On the ride the story is continued with a table and crystal ball that projects Houdinis face to finish the story. It's more coherent.

I thought the ride cycle at SFNE was quite a bit longer then the one at SFGADV though. Of course the ride itself is interesting, once you have done it, there is not much reason to ever ride it again.
The only reason we did was because we have people in our group that had never ridden it.
Before you can be older and wiser you first have to be young and stupid.
