Cedarpoint opening weekend 2011.

They still had halloweekends maps up.

Okay, now this one is just inexcusable. Rides down for weather, okay; not having all trains on the track or transfer track, whatever; still waiting on state inspections for some attractions, sure. But this is freaking egregious.

I totaly agree. If I were you, I wouldn't ever go back to the park. ;)

But they already closed my home park. I have to go! ;)

As for the sign, and everything else, why do they even open early if they are not ready? It's pretty unprofessional to not let your first day of the season be as awesome to the guests as other times of the season. The exception, of course is seasonal shows, but it is well-known (and advertised way ahead of time) that not all of the live entertainment is going to be available.

It's an unannounced soft opening.

I think CP is just getting a headstart on this year's Halloweekends.
